The DVD comprises six promotional films dating from 1953 to 1973 that feature various types of Bedford lorry and the uses to which they were put. Especially memorable are ‘Highway Assignment’, shot during the building of the M1; ‘Thursday 14th’, a classic on road transport from the 1960s, and ‘Bedford M Type’ – the 4 x 4 being put to the test at the FVRDE at Bagshot and elsewhere.
