Over a cloudless September weekend a remarkable collection of tractors from County and other specialist manufacturers enjoyed perfect working conditions at Tedburn St Mary, near Exeter, Devon.
The models shown in this programme range from early conversions based on the Fordson Major through to the massive Muir-Hill 171 and County 1884. Well-known machines of the 1960s and 70s, including the County 1124, Roadless 120 and Northrop 5004, are seen at work.
Although the video focuses on County tractors, machines from Bray, Doe, Matbro and other manufacturers are in action with a range of ploughs and other cultivation equipment.

The event was held with the kind permission of Fulford Estates. Proceeds were in aid of the Devon Air Ambulance and Exeter Mid and East Devon Samaritans.

On the second day of the event we were treated to a spectacular plough-past of big Counties.
John Ball’s Muir-Hill 171 was among the non-County conversions to be seen in action.

Contractor Terry Flay used his 1184TW to demonstrate County’s stability on hillsides.
This 1884 working with a seven-furrow Dowdeswell DP6 plough has been owned by Roger Cann since 1998. Roger was one of the principal organisers of the event.
