A resident of Ipswich from his birth in 1946, David attended Cliff
Lane School and Landseer Secondary School. After working as a darkroom
technician, he joined the East Anglian Daily Times Co Ltd in 1963
as photographer, becoming deputy picture editor in 1980. He is currently
manager of photographic operations for Eastern Counties Newspapers,
Ipswich and picture editor of the Evening Star.
David has been married to Anne since 1972, and they have one son,
James.
