This programme looks at how some of the larger JCB machines are used on sites. Filmed with the co-operation of three major UK contractors, it takes in earthmoving for warehouse construction, landfill site work, road building and house construction.

Machines shown include backhoe loaders, excavators, dump trucks and telehandlers. The different sites provide opportunities to see other machines such as pile-drivers working alongside JCBs in a variety of settings. The clear script has been prepared with technical advice from Tim Starkey-Smith.
