Old Pond Newsletter - March Issue

The Old Pond team always enjoy attending the agricultural, tractor and trucking shows to catch up with faces old and new and give special show discounts to all our customers. Most recently we attended the Malvern Tractor World show which had plenty of tractor displays, auctions, agricultural traders and even a special focus on tractor restoration.
Old Pond’s very own Alan Davies creator of Tractor Restoration: Paintwork gave expert restoration demonstrations (paint and preparation) and gave many the guidance they needed to reach concourse standard.
You can find Old Pond exhibiting next at the Pig and Poultry Fair on the 10th and 11th of May selling this year's essential publications for all serious pig, poultry and egg producers looking to grow their businesses. Entry to the show is free, just click here to register for your e-ticket.
Lambing Season
It’s a beautiful time of year to be walking across our Great British countryside, and if you are out and about you’ll be seeing farmers’ fields coming to life with newborn lambs.
There are more than 60 different breeds of sheep in the UK – author Jack Byard has written two very useful books to help you identify them.
Know Your Sheep takes you alphabetically through 40 of the breeds which are the most likely to be seen on British farms.
Know More Sheep takes in the first-cross Mule sheep you will find on your walks in hill-farming country as well as some of the rarer breeds and recent imports of sheep.
Both books are part of the ‘Know Your’ series and are available for £4.99 each from our website.
Don’t forget, if you wish to receive updates on new products then like our Facebook or Twitter pages. They get updated on a weekly basis and it gives you the opportunity to provide us with feedback.
Do you have any comments, reviews or questions? Then please do not hesitate to have your say by emailing us.
